Riverside County supervisors are ready to move on from a feud that has pitted the county’s top lawyer against a court-appointed watchdog panel and led to an ongoing legal fight and dueling accusations of unethical practices.

The county’s top attorney says the investigative panel doesn’t understand his office’s role. The grand jury was reviewing the county IT department.

A civil grand jury has accused Riverside County’s internal law office of interfering with its review of the county’s information technology department.
