HIGHLAND — A political action committee set on throwing San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos out of elected office has launched its first political mailer in the contest.
The committee, Business Leaders for Fair and Ethical Government Supporting Anderson & Opposing Ramos 2018, has hit the four-term incumbent for breaking state law multiple times, while prosecuting other for similar acts.
In 2009, Ramos was fined by the California Fair Political Practices Commission for failing to properly disclose $10,000 he paid to his wife from money paid to his campaign by donors.
In both 2011 and 2015, Ramos was fined a total of $7,500 collectively for not properly itemizing and disclosing charges on his campaign credit card.

It’s time for a change. This man is no good for California. He is a crook and a crooked politician.
I got one in the mail today.
The next mailer should point out that the 2015 violation was for the IDENTICAL violation that Mike Ramos was fined for in 2011!
Wow. Seeking one million dollars from donors and this is all that is produced? I hope they feel their money went to a good cause. Keep up the good losing fight.
Your ignorance still shows mills. There are many more mailers to come. Shut up sit back and watch for once. When Ramos kicks butt in Federal Court you can celebrate.
James mills:
You were 100% wrong in your prediction of how the Mike Ramos prosecution of The Colonies defendants would end.
On that basis, you might want to consider taking a lower profile (read: keeping your mouth shut) about those who oppose Mike Ramos reelection.
You heard it first here!
This is great. What’s even better is that this slug doesn’t have any money to fight back, and ever since the Sex Predator ad, no one will touch him.
Ramos the sex predator is finally going to have to try to engage his fetishes without public office.
My personal goal is to make sure the voting public sees the full truth about Ramos and what he has done and what he is still doing. By the time Election Day comes its my personal goal to make sure Ramos does not get over 33 percent of the vote. I will personally be very disappointed if he doesn’t lose by a 2 to 1 margin. #morebaddaysaheadforramos.
#6 bravo and amen.
I just received my mailer in the mail, and the quote from Bob Stern DOES point out that the 2015 fine was for the IDENTICAL violation that Mike Ramos was fined for in 2011. Well done!
Now we need a mailer pointing out how Mr. Ramos tried to let the nanny caught on video abusing an infant off with probation until a Superior Court Judge rejected the deal, saying that it was a case that warranted state prison.
Was the nanny one of Mikey’s girlfriends?
It’s just a shame that Mike Ramos won’t be deposed before the election so it could be posted for others to read and decide for themselves what Ramos is all about.
Some might remember the serious scandal involving former Sheriff Rod Hoops where he talked to a SUSPECT over lunch about a Detective the suspect killed in a traffic accident.
Lord the anonymous trolls including James Mills came out of the woodwork on that one defending Hoops.
Behind the scenes when we learned Hoops had been deposed in a wrongful death suit, we worked to get that deposition, successfully got it and posted it up for the world to see.
Hoops performance was pathic for another hero with a self written resume of awesome.
Crickets came quickly after that so did Hoops retirement.
It will be obvious this showboat of a lawyer the County hired will be making every motion possible to delay the inevitable.
To under estimate those with resolve is a serious mistake.
The Colonies 4 just proved that “ beyond a reasonable doubt”.
Canterbury Lots- 68 LLC. That’s Jimmy Previti is it not? Wonder why Previti doesn’t use his given name when donating such large sums of money? Wonder who Burum, Previti and Kirk will endorse for District Attorney? HA!!! What other political offices will they try to “buy” during the 2018 elections? A rolling stone gathers no moss? And that same stone has been rolling in the same direction for years now.
@13 ya know Al I’ve notice over the years you’re more concerned about who donates to who than the meat and potatoes of the problem.
Haven’t seen you comment on Ramos in a negative way yet.
You are more concerned about money donations than civil rights violations or sexual misconduct.
So WHO are you supporting for DA?
I’am amazed at the number of former or current political officials in this County who remain silent on this corruption. It couldn’t be self interest could it?
Or is it simply a lack of courage now that the cats out of the bag?
@14:. Vogler is just unhinged, bitter, and out of power. He’s part of the geriatric crowd that enjoyed the good ol boys corruption and wants to see it remain.
@15 can’t argue that old Al thinks FPPC issues are right up there with National Security issues.
That ruff crowd in Hesperia are a force to be respected.
Was Al on the City Council when that obese City Manager that eventually went to Bell Gardens and got himself in prison?
I apologize for forgetting his name.
