Schraders people want documents produced. The West Memphis city attorney and a sitting police captain are pretty much saying it didn’t happen. I don’t think Jim is Bubba is a complement. But maybe it is.

Schrader’s people? That isn’t true, this only came about when someone from McMahon’s camp such as Mills or the like said that Schrader had lied. The only persons that doubt it simply do so because they don’t like Schrader. They have no proof to substantiate those doubts. Paul Schrader made the statement and there is no reason to doubt it. He doesn’t have to prove it to anyone, if people don’t believe, prove it didn’t happen.
The double standards are absolutely ridiculous. The only thing McMahons camp has to grasp at is the hope that Schrader lied or exaggerated the incident. I find that laughable. This coming from the camp of a PROVEN LIAR. PROVEN….it’s not up for debate, it’s fact and it’s documented. If you want to say less than truthful, if you wanna to excuse it, that’s on you, but you certainly can’t say it didn’t happen.
So simply put, unless you have proof in writing, the same level of proof against McMahon or better, then your just grasping at straws.

I am not a real supporter of McMahon but I can tell you that I refuse to support some Police Officer that claims to have been involved in a shooting when in fact he has not.
I for one have been involved in more than one shooting and I think that it is discussing a Police Officer would throw that card out there to make him look like some kind of hero just to receive votes for an election.
And personally I do not understand how any Police Office could support an individual that would make up some kind of story like this.

More than eight years ago, Holtz was first charged with alleged misconduct in the performance of his duties, specifically a verbal altercation with a prison cook. In October 2001, based on this incident and others, Holtz and the sheriffs department entered into a five-year Last Chance Agreement to resolve the related disciplinary actions in lieu of immediate termination. Under the agreement, Holtz agreed to complete an anger management course and not to violate department policy. Examples of misconduct included Acts . . . which are discourteous, intimidating, harassing, derogatory, or disrespectful.
In July 2006, the sheriff notified Holtz he was being terminated for violating the agreement based on three incidents occurring in January and February 2006 and other earlier incidents from 2000, 2001, and 2004. In January 2006, Holtz had not complied with Sergeant Lackmans request for a department videotape and behaved with disrespect and discourtesy, speaking in a loud, confrontational, and challenging manner. In February 2006, Holtz jabbed his finger against Deputy XXXs chest and threatened, in effect, Mother fucker, Im putting you on notice and thats right , Im touching you. Holtz also poked a finger at Deputy XXX , referred to his combat and lawsuit experience, and warned he was coming at [XXX] like a man and not a mangina.[2] The 2006 incidents apparently involved Holtz having arrested a fellow deputy for driving while intoxicated.

Fact: A witness recalls while Schrader was at West Memphis a shooting incident occurred at the range where Schrader caught shrapnel
Conclusion: There is collaborating evidence that IN FACT Schrader was shot while at the range.
That’s fact. Your argument should not be that Schrader is a liar, because that’s simply not supported by the evidence. At best, ASSUMING ONCE AGAIN that that’s even the shooting he is talking about, is that he mislead his audience…. That’s it. That’s all that you have, AT BEST. That’s just simple fact.
So to call him a liar is false, demeaning, and factually unsupported. In fact, the only evidence anyone has been able to establish is that yes, there was a shooting incident. For all we know, that could be one that didn’t even cross his mind to think of. Now, thanks to the diligence of McMahon supporters, Schrader has 2 shooting incidents he can talk about.
So let’s move along to something more important.
Lets talk about which candidate who gave false testimony under oath.
Or how either candidate is going to stop inmate abuse.

Okay so Schrader was shot at West Memphis Police Department……I’ll buy into that. I guess when he made the statement that “I decided it was probably better for me to come back out to California”. I guess this decision was based on “California has safer ranges than Memphis Police Department does”.
Come on guys try to spin it anyway you want but the bottom line is he said he was shot and stabbed to an audience while running for a public office to make himself look better, that’s the bottom line. So he is no different than any other politician, he will twist the truth to fit the occasion.
Had he told an audience of mainly police officers that he was shot on the range with the fragment of a bullet the majority of them would have laughed him out of the room.
Now as far as the stabbing goes he said that he was stabbed while working for Memphis Police Department yet no one can confirm that information. So again if in fact he was stabbed while on duty and suffered an injury there would have been a report or some other form of documentation as to what had happened.
For all of you cops who have worked the streets you know as well as the next person if someone stabbed you, no matter how slight, that person would have been arrested for at least an assault if not more.
Again this is what is referred to as SPIN. If nothing else it is meant to mislead the voting public. No different than 98% of the people that current are running or who have ran for office.

I work for SBSD and like a lot of the other deputies I am voting for Schrader.
West Memphis is in the top five highest crime infested areas in the US.
I also went back to the video. He never said in the line of duty. West said he was shot in a midnight training exercise by another officer. He was stabbed in the arm. Yes the arm while on a traffic stop. Chief West was very open and stated he worked as Paul’s partner for years in the projects. He also said he has answered this same line of questions from a women and a few men from California. He said they called this week.
I know you Mills do not like Paul. There are more deputies than you think that support him.
I will finish by stating this, Schrader answered you question when he said he was shot and stabbed. You and a few others tried to make this look like a lie. You owe Schrader an apology. He is a brother LEO and everything sent to you proves that.

65. I never said he was not shot or stabbed. I simply said he made the statement he had and after some inquiries, I was unable to find anybody that had knowledge of such an event. I simply asked for Mr. Schrader to provide the details to the events that he used to entice voters to vote for him. Is this wrong? He brought it up, not me. Not Paul has been silent on the subject when asked. The ball is in his court. The context in which he provided this indormation is very clear. If he did in fact get shot and stabbed while fighting crime it should be an easy fix. And if it makes you happy, I will appologize to Paul. Broadcast journalist Gary Daigneault was preparing for his coverage of the 2014 elections at his KCDZ radio station in Joshua Tree on Wednesday when something on San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon’s campaign website caught his eye.
Daigneault began perusing McMahon’s website and clicked on the link that said “endorsements.” He began scrolling down the list of more than 1,600 names when he saw it: He and his wife, Cindy, were listed as having endorsed McMahon for sheriff.
The only problem was that he and his wife had never endorsed McMahon, said Daigneault, whose name, along with 27 others on the endorsement list, appeared twice.
“I never endorse anybody,” Daigneault said.
He said he called the number on McMahon’s website, and a woman who answered the phone, later identified as McMahon’s wife, told Daigneault his and his wife’s names would be removed.
The list was immediately removed from the website.
Daigneault noticed several other names on McMahon’s endorsement list — people he knew — and placed calls to four of them: Joni Daniel and Robin Anaya, whose names also appeared twice on the list, Twentynine Palms Councilman Jay Corbin, and Twentynine Palms Planning Commissioner Carey Alderson. They were all surprised by the news, Daigneault said.
100. Please, nobody manipulated me. I did my own research and no suspect shot Paul as he insuated while working the “violent” street of west memphis. His context in his statement is very evident and clear. So yes, I requested confirmation because what he said did not add up. Even if he was shot in a training excercises, that is certainly not the impression he wanted to convey. I will pay Paul an apology just as soon as he provides evidence of his statements. It’s simple. Back up what you say.
And if you are a deputy in the jail and want a new sheriff, here is my thoughts. A deputy implies you most likely are relatively new if you are working the jail (or a screw up). You can lateral to a new agency or you should have done your homework before coming to am agency where you want a new sheriff. A new sheriff is not going to happen for you, just my opinion. Good luck.

Motivations of a few malcontented posters here are very suspicious. It appears as though a few former and current San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department employees are desperately trying to elect Schrader for malicious reasons. The impression is that were Schrader to win, malcontents who are no longer sheriff employees would be drafted back into the department whereupon they could exact revenge upon those whom they perceive to have wronged them. Malcontents who are still employed can exact revenge upon current employees for the same reason. However, I’d bet that were Schrader able to win, malcontents would remain malcontents. That’s because a hoped for new administration would find them malcontented.
Even more troubling is that a few posters here have taken to rationalizing what might be Schrader’s bad behavior. Whether he was shot and stabbed in the line of duty seems to be doubtful. If he in fact did say that he had been shot and stabbed in the line of duty and he hadn’t, posters attempting to rationalize Schrader’s deception do so at great peril to their credibility.
Claiming false valor is destructive to a cop’s credibility and career. If Schrader needs to clear up an inaccurate statement, he ought to do so before it destroys him. Moreover, posters here attempting to rationalize what might be bad behavior ought to consider what such an endeavor is likely to do to their credibility.

I just did. I don’t personally know anyone named “anonymous”. What I have done is stand up, using MY Name to defend anyone I think is being falsely accused. I think I have been quite verbal on that point.

People you can depend on no matter what happens and I absolutely KNOW who they are!
