I’ve said more than once that Donald Trump is ten steps ahead of everyone else.
Now I’m sure of it.
You see, up until last week, most voters didn’t know what DACA, chain migration or the visa lottery were.
But one thing is for sure. They do now!
It’s all thanks to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illinois)
You see. All of the manufactured drama generated when Durbin left a private White House group meeting with the President and ran his mouth about Trump referring to certain less-fortunate nations as “shit holes” appears to have had an unintended consequence.
In succinct lock-step, main stream media outlets CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, The Washington Post and The New York Times, all piled on Trump. That shit-hole theme played like a fine-tuned piano. That’s until the government actually shut down late Friday night.
All the phony outrage actually worked! But not in the way that it was actually intended.
In reality, it made voters aware of what has actually been happening in regards to U.S. immigration policy.
Yes. Trump insulted poor Haiti and several other impoverished countries to his benefit. After all, these locales are indeed prime vacation hot spots.
But, more importantly, Americans must be scratching there heads as to how all of this happened and who is to blame.
Whatever the logic, cheap labor, more democrat voters, or some other warped plan, it’s bad, and voters know it.
Trump should thank the media and democrats for all the gifts they showered on him this past week, shut down and all.
A new just released Fox News poll has some interesting numbers.
Remember the 18-point generic ballot advantage favoring congressional democrats?
Well it’s gone. Now it’s down to 6-points.
Trump’s approval rating that was 38-percent in October, is now at 45-peercent.
Let’s not forget that the already-in-effect tax plan is just starting to reap rewards for the GOP.
There’s more to come in addition to the plethora of pay raises and bonuses already announced by U.S. companies.
The withholding table changes taking effect at the end of the month will deliver a healthy increase in net pay for most workers. It’s something the democrats already know is coming, but can’t do anything about, except talk about Russia, Russia, Russia.
You know. Maybe all the good news is in fact a Russian-hatched conspiracy to help the U.S. economy and its workers.
