InlandPolitics: Cooley closes gap, 1.6 million absentee ballots to be counted

The race between democrat Kamala Harris and republican Steve Cooley, two district attorneys, may take several days to decide.

The two are now currently separated by just 9,030 votes, now that Riverside County has updated its totals this afternoon.

After facing a slight challenge in June’s Republican primary, Rep. Gary Miller is expected to have a clear path to victory in the 42nd Congressional District election on Tuesday.

Miller is seeking a seventh term in the right-leaning district, which includes parts of Chino Hills and Diamond Bar.
