Ramos

San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos is at it again.
He’s going to form another special unit to garner some free press and try and throw a lifeline to his reelection bid.
This time around it’s not a dog or snake abuse unit.
Now it’s a unit meant solely to help his foundering campaign, with just fifty-seven days until voters show him the door.
Ramos’ new “Prevention and Intervention Unit”, will be the so-called community outreach arm of his office.
In other words, it’s another free PR maneuver on the taxpayer dime!
During his long-in-the-tooth tenure as district attorney, Ramos has created so many special units that if they actually functioned there would be no one left in his agency to carryout the prosecution of violent crime.
It’s pathetic that county supervisors decline to exercise their authority to intervene when this obvious abuse takes place.
But then again. They’re scared of Ramos.
So, if Ramos can’t raise money for his own campaign, which finance disclosure filings show he cannot, then why not use county general fund money instead!
After all it is the San Bernardino County way!
Wow. All this negative press here and hundreds of thousands of dollars being wasted to smear Mr. Ramos. We will see who gets the last laugh after election. What a waste of time and money. Knock yourself out.
You didn’t get the last laugh in the Colonies case mills. Let’s talk about taxpayer money spent on the prosecution. The money being spent to defeat Ramos is voluntary money. It comes from people who don’t like him. We know you like him. But you are a crook so go figure.
Really hope we get a new DA this one is a waste of space. Would love to know who James Mills is.
Ramos campaign signs are popping up all over the High Desert. They were placed on power poles and utility poles which is illegal. I guess the law does not apply to the DA of San Bernardino County!
@#4 take pics and send to the Sun, I’m sure they will use them…..
