Did anyone really think that GOP Front-runnerDonald Trump’s polling numbers would start to dip?

That idea may have been wishful thinking.

The latest Reuters National 5-Day Rolling Tracking Poll has Trump at 45.4-perecent.

That’s Trump’s highest level since January 1.

Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz is a distant second place at 23.4-percent.

I won’t address the remaining two candidates, since they likely won’t be relevant after Tuesday night.

Trump is steamrolling through election after election.

Tuesday has five major contests in Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina.

The only state in contention is Ohio, where Trump and Governor John Kasich are battling it out.
