Note: We are now more than a week into this unfolding scandal and Supervisor Robert Lovingood and the entire Victorville City Council has refused to condemn the federal government’s violation of the law and they have refused to make any statements in opposition of the Syrian refugees.

Shame on Supervisor Robert Lovingood and Victorville Councilman “Lyin'” Ryan McEachron.

First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles announced on her Facebook page that she will be a guest on KFI AM 640’s “The John & Ken Show.” They will discuss the Syrian refugees in Victorville and hopefully condemn Supervisor Robert Lovingood for not speaking out against the federal government’s violation of the law.

Also, it should be noted that when the article ran on Friday in the Daily Press, Supervisor Lovingood did not oppose the placement of Syrian refugees in our community. In fact, not one county official or official from the City of Victorville spoke out against these refugees.

Instead, they insisted that the federal government did not have to consult with local governments and that they didn’t care that the federal government didn’t consult them.

Angela Valles will be a guest at 4:00 PM.

You can listen to her on KFI 640 AM on your radio, via iHeart Radio app on your smartphone, or online via their live stream on the internet.

You can read the article here.

Every candidate wants to have more money than their opponent. But here is the reality. You can overcome and trump a significant monetary disadvantage if you are getting high quality earned media during your election campaign. Read the rest of this entry »

The Boston Marathon bombing was carried out by Chechen brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev on April 15, 2013.

The Wikipedia entry for this event states:

During an initial interrogation in the hospital, Dzhokhar alleged that Tamerlan was the mastermind. He said they were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups.

There has been some confusion over the years about whether or not the Tsarnaev brothers were in fact refugees. Read the rest of this entry »

The California National Guard told the state’s members of Congress two years ago that the Pentagon was trying to claw back reenlistment bonuses from thousands of soldiers, and even offered a proposal to mitigate the problem, but Congress took no action, according to a senior National Guard official.
