In a clear rebuke to California’s system for regulating attorneys, the Assembly on Tuesday decisively rejected a bill that sought to overhaul the State Bar.

SANTA ANA – A dispute over a robocall urging voters to support a local ethics commission had Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas and an Orange County supervisor on Tuesday accusing each other of wrongdoing.

The insults continued a yearslong feud between the two.

  • Food servers, who earn relatively little, will see strong job growth through 2020.

Los Angeles County will add hundreds of thousands of jobs over the next four years, most of them low paying, according to a report released Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation.
