Five fresh polls out of the state of New Hampshire released on Sunday Morning give a better indication on voter preference in the state.
The news was good for front-runner Donald J. Trump.
All five polls now peg Trump with 30.0% of the vote, or higher.
The five new polls, Monmouth University (30%), CNN/WMUR (33%), The Boston Herald/FPU (31%, UMASS/7 News Daily Tracking (36%) and and ARG Tracking (31%), are capturing another uptrend for Trump.
Unlike Iowa, polling in New Hampshire, the first primary election contest, is somewhat more reliable.
The interesting story with the new polling is that second and third place is up in the air between four candidates, Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Ohio Governor John Kasich and Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
Any polling releases scheduled for Monday will give some indication of any post-Saturday debate movement.
At this point. Absent any surprises. The field of candidates could easily winnow itself down to five.
