Billionaire Candidate Donald Trump has, once again, resumed in ascent in new polling.
In just one more week we’ll see the month of December. Not August.
What’s common between the two months? Trump will be the front-runner in the race for the GOP nomination for President of the United States in December. Just as he was in August.
Remember all the descriptors like “summer romance” and “fall fling”?
The recent Paris bombing attacks, just as we said last week, has propelled Trumps poll numbers even higher.
The latest readings has Trump climbing, Retired Neurosurgeon Ben Carson sliding, with Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz climbing.
The remainder of the field is essentially in the mid single-digits or essentially non-existent.
Rubio, has kind of become the flavor of the month., at least for now. He’s the closet to the establishment, next to Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who is all but done in this election cycle.
But Rubio’s past open borders stance will ultimately lead to his future demise with the electorate.
In recent readings, Trump has climbed in pretty much all recent individual statewide polls, including Iowa.
Reuters has been conducting a rolling 5-day national poll of all the candidates. In that measurement Trump dominates the entire field at 38.8%.
Here’s the Reuters polling numbers as of November 20, 2015:
Businessman Donald Trump 38.8% Surgeon and author Ben Carson 14.7% Fla. Sen. Marco Rubio 10.3% Tex. Sen. Ted Cruz 7.1% Wouldn’t vote 6.3% Former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush 5.5% Ken. Sen. Rand Paul 4.1% Ohio Gov. John Kasich 3.0% Former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee 2.8% NJ Gov. Chris Christie 2.6%
