VICTORVILLE — Partnering with Victor Valley College and its Associated Student Body, the Daily Press will facilitate forums on back-to-back nights this week to provide voters a chance to hear from candidates in various races impacting the High Desert.

The forums will occur from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at VVC. Each forum is open to the public.

On Wednesday, the forum will center around city council races in Apple Valley, Hesperia and Victorville.

On Thursday, candidates for the 33rd Assembly District, Republican Jay Obernolte and Democrat John Coffey, will be given an opportunity to make their case to voters, as will candidates for the VVC Board of Trustees.
