Salem Broadcasting owned and operated radio station KTIE-AM 590 (San Bernardino) has picked up the Rush Limbaugh Show.
The move comes after Limbaugh switched from broadcasting powerhouse KFI-AM 640 (Los Angeles) to KEIB-AM 1150. Both stations are owned and operated by Clear Channel.
Both KFI and KEIB have the same broadcast power of 50,000 watts, but the KEIB signal is two directional, compared to KFI’s multi-directional pattern.
The gap in the KEIB signal leaves much to be desired in the Inland Empire.
KTIE should benefit handsomely from the increased listenership.
