UPLAND >> After a brief break to enjoy the holidays, Upland’s Fiscal Response Task Force will continue their efforts to save the city from possible bankruptcy on Saturday.

The 10-member committee tasked by the Upland City Council to recommend ways to save the city money will meet Saturday with the intention to give city staff official direction on where to find the savings.

“I’m hoping to wrap it up,” Dunn said.

The committee was formed in November, with each council member selecting two members of the community, and has held three meetings to discuss options presented by Dunn on where the city could find additional revenues or make cuts.

Anthony Ghosn, member of the task force, will be preparing the letter of recommendation to the council, once the committee finishes reviewing the options on Saturday.
