This afternoon, San Bernardino County Third District Supervisor James C. Ramos (D-San Manuel Indian Reservation) issued a press statement to reiterate his commitment to Third District residents.
The move comes after Ramos told local newspapers, over the weekend, that he was considering a run for the State Senate seat vacated by Bill Emmerson (R-Redlands).
Then this afternnon a rumor started that Ramos was considering a run in the 40th Assembly District, being vacated by Mike Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga), who is now running to replace Emmerson.
One this is certain. Ramos doesn’t want to stay in his current office and wants to move up. His staffers say as much.
Maybe next we’ll hear Rocket Scientist Ramos is running for Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector.
