Here’s polling numbers released by one of the campaigns competing in next Tuesday’s special election to represent the 52nd State Assembly District.
The numbers show candidate Paul Leon (I-Ontario), is easily winning the primary contest. But, it’s only the primary!
It would be something if Republican Dorothy Pineda actually bested Democrat Freddie Rodriguez for second place. It still looks a little difficult at this point. But this is another very-low turnout contest, which means anything can happen.
Should Rodriguez pull out second place, Leon will have a tough time in a runoff, because of democratic voter registration advantage in the district.
