Now it’s the Investors Business Daily/TIPP Poll that has taken on the standard bearer role for the Democratic Party.

The business newspaper’s daily tracking poll, released Sunday afternoon, shows President Barack Obama has now mysteriously opened up a 6-point lead over Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

The only problem with the poll is the same old story that makes the poll an outlier.

IBD/TIPP has given its poll a 7-percent Democrat turnout weighting over Republican.

A scenario that isn’t in the cards this year, where turnout is likely to be even or lean GOP.

It makes one wonder why certain polling firms pull out all the stops to create a facade.

This time IBD/TIPP is using itself as a counterbalance to the poll of reputable Gallup.
