With all precincts reporting, unofficial results show voters in Menifee approved a new Walmart supercenter, while residents in Wildomar and Canyon Lake turned down local tax proposals.
Wildomar voters rejected a proposed park tax. About 55 percent of voters voted yes on the fee, which needed two-thirds approval.
Canyon Lake residents rejected a public safety tax, which recieved less than 39 percent of the vote.
A ballot measure that would clear the way for a new Walmart was approved by more than 76 percent of those who voted.
