A medical marijuana cooperative that believes it was unjustly shutdown by Upland officials last September is now mounting an all out offensive against the city.

G3 Holistics, Inc., operated by longtime area businessman Aaron Sandusky, served Councilman Ken Willis with recall papers at Monday nights council meeting.

Willis immediately became an unhappy camper after getting the bad news,

Willis called Sandusky a drug dealer and said he wasn’t running for another term, which expires next year.

Last November, Sandusky and his G3 group supported Gino Filippi, who ousted former Councilman Tom Thomas.

G3 is currently pursuing an appeal of the city cease and desist order.
