Syrian refugees could soon be getting a tuition-free junior college education if one ultra-liberal Riverside County politician has his way.
Bill Hedrick, a candidate for the Riverside Community College District Trustee with ties to a radical Islamic terrorist group , expressed his support for tuition-free college education for all on his Facebook page.
“I believe in making community college totally free — that means no fees.”

An anonymous commenter on the Inland Politics blog claiming to have lost his or her father in the December 2 San Bernardino terrorist attack is calling for the dismissal of a San Bernardino Sun columnist named Sal Rodriguez.
The columnist has come under fire after he penned a smear piece of a local candidate over the issue of Syrian refugees which contained inaccurate information and insensitive comments. He subsequently engaged in debates on Facebook whereby he presented false information as being fact.
In addition to posting insensitive comments on Facebook and subsequently deleting them, Rodriguez compared the threat of terrorism via refugees to peanut allergies. He suggested that peanut allergies were a greater threat and that anyone getting enraged by refugees was “pathetic.” Read the rest of this entry »

On Saturday, we exposed the lies San Bernardino Sun columnist Sal Rodriguez had peddled in a column and in Facebook posts as he attempted to smear First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles on the issue of Syrian refugees.
Columnists and journalists aren’t used to being held accountable.
But, social media and the internet has changed the old paradigm when frauds could spread their propaganda without suffering any serious consequences.
After being lit up on this blog, Rodriguez began to do some damage control and deleted at least one of his Facebook posts. Read the rest of this entry »

When San Bernardino County First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles announced that she had discovered the federal government was dumping unvetted Syrian refugees in the City of Victorville nearly two weeks ago, it sent shockwaves throughout the campaign and region.
Supervisor Robert Lovingood, her incumbent opponent, completely bungled the response revealing that he was caught entirely flatfooted by Valles accusations that he was either asleep at the wheel and oblivious to the public safety issue, or in on the cover up.
In a candidate forum and numerous stories since, neither Lovingood nor anybody with the City of Victorville has expressed any opposition to the placement of Syrian refugees in that community.
Today, a columnist for the San Bernardino Sun by the name of Sal Rodriguez decided to weigh in on the discussion by slamming Angela Valles as an opportunist who spreads fear and paranoia. Boy, that was a mistake. Read the rest of this entry »

The Syrian refugee issue in Victorville shows no signs of losing any intensity as we sprint to the November 8 election day finish line.
Earlier this week, The John & Ken Show invited First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles on to their program to discuss how the federal government has been dumping unvetted Syrian refugees into the community of Victorville.
Now word is trickling out that members of the High Desert community are angry and planning to hold a protest in Victorville this Saturday. Read the rest of this entry »

Our fearless blog administrator posted yesterday with some statistics on site traffic for the blog. You can read it here.
It is clear that blog traffic has skyrocketed thanks to massive interest in the Syrian refugee issue.
But, I am sure there are some doubters and haters that think maybe the information was doctored or photoshopped. So, I want to give you an easy, crude way to tell if a site is getting lots of traffic from readers. Read the rest of this entry »

During the 2012 campaign, Lovingood billed himself as a fiscal conservative businessman who would boost the economy, increase jobs and oppose taxes and fees levied on the taxpayers.
It was a powerful message earning him the victory that November.

Note: We are now more than a week into this unfolding scandal and Supervisor Robert Lovingood and the entire Victorville City Council has refused to condemn the federal government’s violation of the law and they have refused to make any statements in opposition of the Syrian refugees.
Shame on Supervisor Robert Lovingood and Victorville Councilman “Lyin'” Ryan McEachron.

First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles announced on her Facebook page that she will be a guest on KFI AM 640’s “The John & Ken Show.” They will discuss the Syrian refugees in Victorville and hopefully condemn Supervisor Robert Lovingood for not speaking out against the federal government’s violation of the law.
Also, it should be noted that when the article ran on Friday in the Daily Press, Supervisor Lovingood did not oppose the placement of Syrian refugees in our community. In fact, not one county official or official from the City of Victorville spoke out against these refugees.
Instead, they insisted that the federal government did not have to consult with local governments and that they didn’t care that the federal government didn’t consult them.
Angela Valles will be a guest at 4:00 PM.
You can listen to her on KFI 640 AM on your radio, via iHeart Radio app on your smartphone, or online via their live stream on the internet.

For some odd reason, the Daily Press did an article on the campaign finance reports for the First District Supervisor race this week. The campaign finance reports have been out for a month and it showed Lovingood with a huge advantage in the money he has raised.
Every candidate wants to have more money than their opponent. But here is the reality. You can overcome and trump a significant monetary disadvantage if you are getting high quality earned media during your election campaign. Read the rest of this entry »

The Boston Marathon bombing was carried out by Chechen brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev on April 15, 2013.
The Wikipedia entry for this event states:
During an initial interrogation in the hospital, Dzhokhar alleged that Tamerlan was the mastermind. He said they were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups.
There has been some confusion over the years about whether or not the Tsarnaev brothers were in fact refugees. Read the rest of this entry »

Supervisor “Do-Nothing” Bob Lovingood finally responded to the Syrian refugee scandal unfolding in Victorville this week. I am sure that after listening to Lovingood’s brief message below, you will be comforted by his confident, re-assuring tone.
Sunday, October 23, 2016 – 3:53 p.m.
On Friday, the Daily Press confirmed that Syrian refugees have indeed been placed in Victorville by the federal government. On Tuesday, Angela Valles broke the news and rebuked Supervisor Robert Lovingood and the Victorville City Council for either covering it up, or being asleep at the wheel.
Officials from both agencies refused to condemn and oppose the placement of these refugees within San Bernardino County. Additionally, they took turns attacking Valles.
Supervisor Robert Lovingood’s campaign has been in a tailspin since the news broke in the very conservative High Desert district that encompasses the cities of Adelanto, Hesperia, Victorville, and the Town of Apple Valley.
He slammed Valles in an obvious effort to deflect from taking accountability for the unfolding scandal. He claimed that Valles was merely seeking headlines and unaware of the responsibilities of the office. Read the rest of this entry »

According to multiple news reports at least 23 Syrian refugees have been settled in the City of Victorville by the Federal Government.
Friday, October 21, 2016 – 10:40 p.m.
BUT THEY WERE VETTED!
Yeah, stop us if you have heard this before. Breitbart News reports a “vetted” refugee has been diagnosed with a multi-drug resistant form of tuberculosis.
One of the 3,554 refugees resettled in Ingham County, Michigan (Lansing) during the six years beginning October 1, 2010 and ending on September 30, 2016 (FY 2011 to FY 2016) has been diagnosed with multi-drug resistant (MDR) tuberculosis (TB), the Ingham County Health Department tells Breitbart News.

Well, if you are running for re-election in a conservative Republican district, then a headline and story like this is prrroooobably something you are not going to want to see dropped on you right as voters get their absentee ballots.
In what was one of the most devastating articles I have ever read published during a local campaign, this will probably go down as the beginning of the end of Supervisor “Do-Nothing” Bob Lovingood’s campaign.
On the front page you get a devastating headline and the first two paragraphs are all bad for the incumbent. Read the rest of this entry »

First District Supervisor candidate Angela Valles has condemned the “dumping” of Syrian refugees into Victorville, saying she would sue the federal government and seek to cut off refugee welfare benefits after it was discovered 23 Syrian immigrants have resettled in the city this year.

A gigantic bomb was dropped on First District Supervisor “Do-Nothing” Bob Lovingood late Tuesday morning when his challenger, Angela Valles, informed district voters that unvetted Syrian refugees have been secretly dumped in the High Desert community of Victorville.
It doesn’t take a degree in political science to know that the High Desert folk aren’t going to be too excited at the news.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you that the timing of this news comes at a disastrous time for the Lovingood campaign. Read the rest of this entry »

The Angela Valles campaign broke a huge story yesterday about unvetted Syrian refugees being dumped into San Bernardino County by an insensitive federal government. Every single Syrian refugee placed in San Bernardino County has been settled in the High Desert community of Victorville.
It can also be shared that Syrian refugees are now in Riverside County — or more specifically Riverside and Corona.
All of this occurred under the watch of San Bernardino County Supervisor Robert Lovingood even though the federal government is required to consult with local authorities before placing these individuals.
