Supervisor Derry is the only Supervisor that can stand-up to the Devil and DA Mikey, and is now paying the price for the politically-motivated charges, and that’s all they’ll ever be is politically-motivated charges.

Doesn’t mean pleading to a lesser charge, in order to spare yourself and your family the displeasure of having to go through further politically-motivated antics in a trial, isn’t the smart thing to do.

Don’t forget the way that Supervisor Derry first got himself in hot water with the County Administration, is when he objected to the $20K/yr. County paid stipend to judges.

If he hadn’t accepted the plea deal AFTER THE FELONY CHARGES HAD BEEN THROWN-OUT Derry surely would have wanted to get a JURY TRIAL, because after his call to eliminate the $20K/yr. stipend, all the attorneys and judges (attorneys in a robe) want to see the corruption-fighter go down to the Indian chief… in the end, it’s JUST MORE WORK FOR THEM!

And the best part about Derry’s ties to the Taliban is that he would admit to it just to spare his family a long, drawn-out investigation. What a selfless act.

A San Bernardino police sergeant Saturday criticized county prosecutors for pleading out a murder conspiracy case to two San Manuel tribal members that may enable them to serve house arrest and probation.

It is the first time a ranking San Bernardino police officer has spoken out publicly against the plea agreement struck in April between prosecutors and members of San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Stacy Nunez-Barajas and her brother, Erik Barajas.

Nunez-Barajas, 26, and her brother, 35, pleaded guilty to attempted murder with a gang enhancement and assault with a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement, respectively. They are facing six months to a year of house arrest and probation. They are scheduled for sentencing Nov. 6 in San Bernardino Superior Court.

Sgt. Steve Filson, a 27-year veteran of the San Bernardino Police Department who worked a seven-month joint investigation with federal drug agents in 2006 targeting the Mexican Mafia’s methamphetamine rackets in the Inland Empire, said he would have liked to have seen the case go to trial.

Regarding your comment #16, I recommend that you look up the definition of defamation.

Neil Derry IS NOT a convicted felon; if somebody claims that he is, and malice can be proven, I believe he could be found liable. In fact, malice may not even have to be proven; that’s why I asked if an attorney can enlighten us.

I’m guessing that you are not an attorney.

As to the “slap on the wrist,” are you confusing Neil Derry with Mike Ramos?

Do you know the best way to cure the problem of homes that are underwater and people who aren’t paying their mortgages? FORECLOSURE. You can keep throwing tax payer money at the problem time and time again and it’s never going to fix it… only slow it down… and waste even more money in the process.
