InlandPolitics: Did Mayes Get Burned by the Dems on Cap & Trade Deal?

Yesterday, over at American Children First, I wrote about a tip I had received concerning a lawsuit filed by Assemblyman Chad Mayes (R-Yucca Valley) against the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, and the state printer.

Initial speculation suggested it might be related to the ballot title of one of his opponents. I am now receiving word that it may in fact be related to Proposition 70.

The chairman of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce filed a public claim against San Bernardino on Monday, March 5, alleging his civil rights were violated by several city officials at a recent City Council meeting.

The claim is a precursor to a civil lawsuit.
