A division director for the San Bernardino County Probation Department has been put on administrative leave following a felony arrest Wednesday, Jan. 31, the agency’s spokeswoman said Saturday.

Teneka Shrell Grant, 46, was arrested by San Bernardino police on suspicion of grand theft at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at 175 West 5th St. in San Bernardino, which is the address for the probation department’s main office.

County probation spokeswoman Stephanie Roque said that Grant has been placed on “administrative leave pending investigation.”

She declined to answer questions about the arrest or what Grant’s responsibilities were in the department.

Grant, 46, is no longer in custody, according to San Bernardino County jail booking records.
