Donald J. Trump has been elected the 45th President of the United States.

Wednesday, November 9, 2016 – 07:30 a.m.

In what to most was a stunning victory. Billionaire non-politician Donald Trump will become the forty-fifth President of the United States on January 20, 2017.

It wasn’t as long of a night as it could have been.

As expected, Trump secured victories in the big three of Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. The trifecta was followed-up with wins in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

The latter two states blew a hole in the so-called blue democrat firewall of Secretary Hillary Clinton.

But there’s still votes to count.

Baring anything unexpected. Trump should easily surpass the 300 electoral vote threshold.

Trump’s victory also helped republicans to maintain solid majorities in both the Senate and House of Representatives.
