RNC - 2016

Sunday, July 17, 2016 – 10:30 a.m.

It’s finally here. The Republican National Convention (RNC) will start Monday in Cleveland, Ohio.

Now that Presumptive Nominee Donald J. trump has selected his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, the stage is set.

Trump is a marketing genius. I’ve been saying it since he announced.

I’ve said he would be the nominee. I’ve said he will be the next President of the United States.

The convention is the true start of the Trump-Pence climb to The White House.

This event will be a well-choreographed presentation about Trump the man and leader. In other words. It’s the start of the process of making the sale to the American people as a whole.

With pretty much all recent polling showing Trump and Democrat Presumptive Nominee Hillary Clinton in pretty much dead heats in national and battleground polls, it doesn’t get much better than this.

A blind man can see that Clinton’s trustworthiness is dragging her under.

New polling overwhelmingly shows that Americans don’t trust her. They don’t believe her. Especially on her use of a private home-brew email server out of her basement, and then a closet.

When only 6-percent of people feel that Clinton didn’t do anything wrong, there’s a problem.

Add the rash of law enforcement shootings and international crisis to the mix and Clinton has problems.

The choice argument is rapidly continue with “more of the same” or “it’s time for a change”.

Clinton’s campaign and related Super-PAC’s are reportedly spending $500,000 per day on negative ads against Trump and it’s not working.

All while Trump is spending zero, while at the same time building his war-chest and that of the Republican National Committee.

I’m not predicting a Trump landslide. But he will win handily.
