There’s another round of wishful thinking at San Bernardino International Airport.

You remember? That $300 million boondoggle known as the airport to nowhere.

The airport authority another “agreement” that’s being the possible genie in the bottle to wipe the mud from those individuals involved in blowing all that taxpayer money.

This time the new panacea is a new trade agreement. Not a trade deal. But just an agreement.

Meaning nothing but lip-service.

You can read about the new spin here: Why the global trade agreement at San Bernardino International Airport could bring thousands of jobs

For decades, elected officials have been dishing out all kinds of tales, such as scheduled airlines or large aircraft maintenance companies moving to the location.

None of them materialized of course.

Taxpayers shouldn’t take any point of this new announcement seriously, without some tangible evidence materializing first.
