Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin said Friday, May 13 that he has returned all campaign contributions from a donor whose chain of auto repair businesses was fined six figures after state officials said customers paid for faulty and unneeded work.

Incumbent Kevin Jeffries faces Britt Holmstrom and Debbie Walsh for the First District seat on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.

It’s not uncommon for Riverside County Supervisor Kevin Jeffries to be on the losing end of a 4-1 vote.

But the former Republican state assemblyman hopes to be on the winning end of the June 7 primary and retain his First District seat on the Board of Supervisors. His opponents are two Mead Valley women, activist Britt Holmstrom and Debbie Walsh, who served as an aide to Jeffries’ predecessor.
