The Sun: April retirement benefits delayed for roughly 9,000 SBCERA members

Roughly 9,000 members and beneficiaries of the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association have experienced a delay in receiving their April benefit payments due to a clerical error, the organization’s spokesman said Friday.

More than a year after Moreno Valley parted ways with its city attorney, a search for a replacement is underway.

Since July, Steve Quintanilla has been interim city attorney. Because Quintanilla has his own law practice and is also city attorney for Rancho Mirage and Desert Hot Springs, he had agreed to stay on through the end of June.
