While his rivals attack each other. Donald Trump remains the clear GOP front-runner at the start of 2016.
Friday, January 1, 2016 – 11:00 a.m.
It’s just ten months and eight days away and counting!
Tuesday, November 8, 2016 is Presidential Election Day.
The Republican Field has started to decay, with Former New York Governor George Pataki being the latest departure from the GOP nominating contest.
Frankly, most people never knew Pataki, an effective Governor for his state, entered or left the GOP race.
Pataki follows South Carolina U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who bailed out almost two weeks ago.
This essentially brings the current Dead Sea Scroll list of candidates down to a nauseating eleven.
Now comes breaking news of a meltdown in the campaign of Retired Pediatric Neurosurgeon Ben Carson. The news being Carson’s campaign manager and fundraiser have bailed-out on him.
Customarily, campaign shakeups are a sign of impending withdrawal from an election contest.
On the Donald Trump front, the Billionaire Businessman GOP Front-Runner has the perfect scenario brewing.
While Trump focuses on Bill and Hillary Clinton, and with Carson fading fast, the other competing “elected official” candidates are blood-letting each other.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who just cut his ad buys in Iowa and South Carolina, Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie are on a mission to take each other down.
Newsflash here! It’s working like a charm.
Honestly speaking. If your Trump. Who could ask for anything more?
Now on to the bad news for Hillary front.
It looks as if President Barack Obama, with 384 days left in office, is going to use executive action after executive action, in his final year, to remain relevant and stir the pot
Obama appears set to temporarily get his way on such issues as gun control and immigration.
I use the term ‘temporarily’ because, at some point, the courts will intervene again.
Regardless of whether or not he succeeds, it’s all bad politics for Clinton.
The remaining Obama agenda will give Trump a massive campaign platform to bash Obama and Clinton.
But make no mistake. Clinton will try to distance herself from Obama. But then there’s that pesky FBI/DOJ investigation into Clinton’s home-brew email server.
The number of classified emails is closing in on 1,300 as of last night. Remember that Clinton says she didn’t “knowingly” send any classified information via her unsecured server.
But then again. She was trained on how to personally identify classified material and protect it.
