Chess Board

Billionaire GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump continues to defy the self-proclaimed political establishment experts.

These so-called establishment experts or pundits, such as George Will, Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, Stephen Hayes, Karl Rove, Charles Krauthammer and others, while very intelligent, seem to be having a learning curve problem when it comes to Trump’s success at this point in late November 2015, when Trump was by all accounts suppose to be a distant memory, and not to mention cocktail party joke.

Mr. Will, a regular on Fox News Channel, has came close on several occasions to melting down and his hair catching on fire.

The aforementioned experts and others keep insisting that Trump must expand and explain his campaign positions in copious detail. Yes, like every other candidate throughout the ages, Trump must publish a dissertation on a detail-by-detail plan as to just how he will handle every single political position he puts forth in his campaign.

I’m referring to the usual position papers that every successful candidate puts forth to voters and never looks at again once they’re elected president.

But the aforementioned experts, maybe with the exception of Krauthammer, who realized about two months ago that Trump is a marketing genius, had tapped into the American electorate like no other modern-age candidate before him.

But early on, Trump decided to embark on a populist path at a time when a overwhelming majority of Americans voters from all political affiliations were, and are, very upset at the current political leadership and direction of the country.

It’s true that Trump has been periodically releasing detailed position papers on various subjects, but they go relatively ignored by the media. In the meantime Trump keeps his campaign trail message succinct and to the point, and it’s working.

Recent national and state-by state polling numbers show Trump surging ahead, once again defying the aforementioned experts.

The amazing part about all of this is Trump has spent very little money to maintain his lead in the polls.
