Election Results

The 2015 off-cycle election offered nothing significant in terms of results or surprises.

Former Congresswoman Gloria Negrete-McLeod and Retired County Supervisor Gary Ovitt were both elected to the Chaffey Community College District Board of Trustees.

In San Bernardino, Third Ward Councilman John Valdivia ran unopposed and Fifth Ward Councilman Henry Nickel (66.67%) easily trounced Brian Davison (33.33%).

However the city’s Sixth and Seventh Ward council seats will go to a February runoff.

In the Sixth Ward, Bessine Littlefield-Richard (37.64%) will face Roxanne Williams (36.22%) and in the Seventh Ward incumbent John Mulvihill (29.10%) is currently projected to face Rialto real Estate broker Scott Beard (20.58%). Currently, just 15 votes separate Beard from Kim Robel.

In Rancho Cucamonga, and attempt at getting voters to approve more taxes for a community facilities district landed with a resounding thud.

All of the contests received tepid voter interest.
