Donald Trump

Saturday, September 19, 2015 – 09:30 a.m.

Newsflash from the GOP establishment and pundit corp: Donald Trump’s finished!

You can take it to the bank.

The politically-correct doom squad has come out to depose the republican front-runner, once again declaring him damaged good. In other words the “It is because we say it is” brainwash contingent is working hard over the weekend.

The latest dust-up is a result of Trump not correcting comments from a supporter about Muslim’s (terrorism implied) and the president.

Yes. The ordeal was followed by an onslaught of phony outrage from every politico and their mother.

A few takes here.

The establishment pumping up of Ben Carson to take Trump down a notch has now shifted to Carly Fiorina. Yes, we can expect to hear less about Carson, with a sleepy debate performance, as he recedes in the polls.

Fiorina is now the new “anti-Trump” flavor-of-the-month. It’s interesting because her tenure as CEO at Hewlett-Packard is a big stick to use against her in any campaign.

In post-debate and mostly non-scientific surveys, Fiorina did better than Carson, this time around. Trump remained generally the winner. In other words it was the same as the first debate.

Breitbart has a story out on an actual post-debate poll, with a small sample size of 504 registered voters and margin of error of +/- 4.4%. The result bodes even better for Trump.

The rundown in the Morning Consult Poll has Trump leading at 36% followed by Carson (12%) and Fiorina (10%).

Jeb Bush pulled just 6%.

The GOP bosses and donors still just don’t get it.

Trump is saying what a large portion of registered voters are thinking. When establishment candidates come out and criticize his remarks they hurt themselves even more. Look at it as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The border wall is a prime example.

Trump says he will build it hands down. A few candidates try and say they same thing. But for some reason, “like running home to mama”, they revert back to a no wall and essentially an amnesty-leaning position.

It’s utterly amazing to say the least.

We’ll see how the more mainstream polls develop in the next ten days or so.

There will be some shifting, but not much. Trump will dip and rise throughout this contest. But he’s not going anywhere.

So far Trump has published position papers on immigration and gun control, with more to come. He’s slow-dripping his agenda for maximum effect.

All the establishment and media are doing his handing out greater amounts of free press to the billionaire candidate.

It continues on: “All Trump. All the Time.”
