REDLANDS >> A major industrial project is taking shape next to the 10 Freeway and adjacent to the Splash Kingdom Waterpark.
National real-estate brokerage firm Lee & Associates was recently chosen to help secure leasing for the 51-acre former agricultural site at the southeast corner of Lugonia and Bryn Mawr avenues, where freeway motorists can see construction taking place.
The development is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The project, called the California Street Commerce Center, consists of two state-of-the-art, industrial buildings, encompassing more than 1.1 million square feet.
A third building connected to the development, a 771,839 square-foot industrial facility on 35.9 acres at the northeast corner of California Street and Lugonia, is set to be completed by the end of the summer, said John Magness, senior vice president of Hillwood Investment Properties.
Magness said being so close to the freeway will be a marketing asset.
