Former Upland City Manager Robb Quincey left, has petitioned to have his felony conviction reduced, dismissed and expunged, and probation terminated.

Former Upland City Manager Robb Quincey, who pleaded guilty to a felony conflict of interest charge last year, and sentenced just last October, has filed to have his conviction reduced to a misdemeanor, dismissed, expunged and probation terminated.

That’s eight months following a felony conviction.

Quincey, who was convicted of entering into a legal settlement of a matter in which he had a personal interest in, without city council approval. He has also paid the city restitution in the amount of $50,000.

Normally, such a motion would not have been filed unless prior agreement had already been reached with prosecutors.

The motion, filed May 4, is set to be heard in West Valley Superior Court on June 19.
