Exclusive Care, a Riverside County-run health insurance program for employees, sends patients to the county hospital in Moreno Valley. One supervisor is questioning whether the program pays Riverside County Regional Medical Center enough for patient care.

Since 1999, Riverside County employees have been able to get health care through an exclusive, county-run program called, fittingly enough, Exclusive Care.

Didn’t San Bernardino County have a health plan like this until the mid-1990s call Flex Med? That plan had employees go to the pre-ARMC County Hospital to receive care for the cheapest monthly premium of all the health plans offered by the County?
@1 you are correct. I tried it, what a nightmare. I sat in the emergency room for hours, along with the hookers and drug addicts. The overworked intern began to scream at the woman ahead of me so I switched at the next open enrollment.
