Also, last night at the San Bernardino City Council meeting, the council made a seemingly nonsensical financial decision.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has agreed to pay $650,000 to a man who was punched and kicked by a group of deputies following a pursuit on horseback.

As Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker moves toward a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, one of the world’s wealthiest businessmen and biggest political influencers, David Koch, had high praise for him on Monday.
