A cut to a state gasoline tax means less money for repaving and pothole fixes, Riverside County officials say.

Riverside County and its cities stand to lose millions for road repairs after a state board made a deeper-than-average cut to a gasoline tax as part of a complicated maneuver to close a state budget gap.
