A San Bernardino County resident who wanted to film an officially agendized public meeting received an interesting response.

Resident Tressy Capps, who attended a community public meeting for input on proposed Inland Empire freeway tolls, under consideration by the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) and San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), was told to stop recording.

After a few moments of debate, Capps lost the argument.

The dubious action and accompanying explanation, by a representative from Westbound Communications, is plainly illegal.

But then again. It is, after all, San Bernardino County.
