It looks like Inland Empire host Lou Desmond landed on his feet, then jumped up.
After his show on KTIE 590 was replaced after four-and-a-half years, Desmond took less than a week to launch a podcast with many of the same guests — and sponsors — he had on the radio.
Now, courtesy of MSNBC’s The Ed Show, he’s getting his voice — and face — on cable.
Host Ed Schutlz doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Desmond about much, a point made clear in his inaugural appearance Thursday when they sparred over healthcare and the economy.
“I told him, where I’m sitting in the Inland Empire, there hasn’t been much of an economic recovery,” Desmond said. “We’re still struggling.”
But they seem to have agreed that Desmond made a good conservative foil: According to Desmond, he was invited back to appear regularly.
