Here’s the latest update from the average of polls, produced by, as of Saturday morning.

If the election were held today, Republicans would control the U.S. Senate by a margin of 52-48.

For the past week, Iowa. Kansas, New Hampshire, Kentucky and North Carolina have been trending for the GOP. Georgia remains close. Arkansas has now shifted to a likely GOP pickup.

Expect a December runoff in Louisiana, and January runoff in Georgia. Both contests favor the GOP.
