This is the new San Bernardino County logo adopted Tuesday by the Board of Supervisors.

After 30 years, San Bernardino County has a new logo.

The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved the new logo — a white arrowhead with gold border and the blue-lettered words “San Bernardino County” jutting from its center. It replaces the less colorful former logo: a gray arrowhead ringed by gray rays and with the words “County of San Bernardino” arched over the top in black.

Supervisors approved the former logo in 1984, but in the late 1990s it began to gradually and unofficially fall out of use in favor of the more colorful county seal, county spokesman David Wert said.
