SAN BERNARDINO >> The American Civil Liberties Union has opened its first office in this city to serve the needs of Inland Empire residents.

ACLU representatives will focus initially on three of the region’s most pressing issues: voting rights, immigrant rights and police practices, officials said in a news release.

Adrienna Wong will serve as a staff attorney and Luis Nolasco will serve as a community engagement and policy advocate.
