Brandt to end council service

Upland City Councilman Brendan Brandt has announced he will not seek another term.

Brandt, a partner in the Riverside-based law firm Varner & Brandt, also serves as Vice-Chairman of San Bernardino County’s $8-billion pension fund, the San Bernardino County Employees Retirement Association.

Brandt was first elected in 2002.

Valles will not seeek second term

Citing other aspirations, Victorville City Council Member Anglea Valles has announced that she will not seek a second term.

Valles has been a trailblazer and lightning rod during her tenure on the council.

She recently made an unsuccesful run for the 8th Congressional District.

Jan Dreher to run for Redlands City Council

Long time resident Jan Dreher has announced her candidacy for the Redlands City Council.

Dreher is the former Public Information Officer for the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), the county’s transportation planning agency.

The city has three at-large seats up for election on November 4 .
