ACLU

A series of officer use-of-force deaths and fresh allegations of misconduct in San Bernardino County Jails, is being confirmed as the driver behind the creation of a San Bernardino Office of the Amercian Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Multiple deaths related to officer-involved shootings, a taser-related death, primarily of unarmed decedants, has caught the groups attention.

A third-party source has confirmed that ACLU lawyers will be looking at everything.

Another area of concern is private statements, made by the San Bernardino County District Attorney. Statements to the effect that he will never prosecute a peace officer for a use-of-force death. The reason given is the failed prosecution of Former Sheriff’s Deputy Ivory Webb.

Since that loss, the District Attorney has justified all use-of-force deaths.

Without passing judgement, it’s going to be interesting times in the county.
