Candidates for a state Senate seat in Riverside County and a congressional district in San Bernardino County get the most help

As the June 3 primary election nears, two Inland races are becoming money magnets attracting special committees with distant addresses and deep pockets.

Independent expenditure committees have spent almost $800,000 as of Wednesday to help or hinder two feuding Republican candidates in the 28th state Senate District, which will represent southwest Riverside County and the county’s desert communities.
