The race to replace retiring Congressman Gary Miller (R-Rancho Cucamonga) is really heating up.
A few assumptions, previously discussed here, appear to be materializing.
Pete Aguilar (D-Redlands) has took a swing at former Congressman Joe Baca (D-Rialto).
Yes, I said Baca. You know, Joe Baca, the name no one really mentions these days.
The polling data, we have been hearing about from the Baca camp, must also be materializing in the polling numbers of the zero-momentum Aguilar machine.
What a shocker! Well, not really.
Like we’ve been saying for a long time. Aguilar is a piss-poor campaigner.
He (Aguilar) would now appear to be trying to knock Baca off the political radar screen.
Translated: Aguilar has a problem!
Lawyer Eloise Gomez Reyes (D-Colton), has been in the mailbox to women voters six times so far. Something no one expected.
The well-funded Reyes has complicated life for everyone, especially Aguilar. Like we’ve been saying here. She has a great chance to make the runoff.
The Baca name identification, with voters, is causing some serious nervousness these days. Don’t be surprised if Aguilar, once again, gets knocked out in the primary.
We won’t waste time talking about the mailer’s ridiculous messaging.
Here’s the entire mailer (Click on images to enlarge):
