Personal loans are the primary funding source for the two main candidates to succeed Assemblyman Tim Donnelly in the 33rd Assembly District.
Sheriff’s Lieutenant Rick Roelle has loan himself $20,000, while Big Bear Lake Mayor Jay Obernolte has coughed-up $75,000.
The two men, along with Apple Valley Town Mayor Art Bishop, are the only contenders with any money, at this point.
