Republicans are making it easy for democrats to pickup the 31st Congressional District this time around.
After all, GOP candidates shooting themselves in the head is commonplace these days.
Chabot, instead of focusing on the two frontrunning democrats, Pete Aguilar and Eloise Gomez Reyes, has instead decided to attack fellow republican Lesli Gooch.
Apparently trying to label Gooch a lobbyist is Chabot’s current agenda. Even though her experience dictates otherwise. How Gooch’s background of a congressional aide, with extensive policy experience, somehow translates into a lobbyist, is a bit perplexing.
It doesn’t take a political wizard to figure out that both Chabot, and Gooch, have to advance to the November runoff. Either of the two, advancing to face a likely well-funded democrat opponent, would have an extremely difficult challenge.
One would think Chabot could figure this out. But it doesn’t appear so.
On a side note. It seems Chabot has fanned out from his anti-drug non-profit work, and into political consulting.
Chabot Communications, has appeared on the campaign finance report of Assessor-Recorder candidate Bob Dutton. Sources say Dutton has engaged the company to do his fundraising.
One has to wonder what that healthy federal grant, to Chabot’s non-profit last year, actually paid for?
Paul Chabot — actually claimed that alcohol Prohibition worked!
A former State Parole Board member, founded the Coalition for a Drug-Free California, He is a lieutenant commander in the Navy Reserve and worked in the Office of Naval Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency among other agencies, according to his online biography. He’s been a reserve deputy for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and worked as a University of Southern California police officer, the biography read.
In 1999 Paul was selected for the Nation’s prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship Program and served as a White House Senior Policy Advisor for nearly six years while also completing two rotational assignments, one with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and later with the U.S. State Department developing Federal government policy and programs.
Paul Chabot, 33, of Rancho Cucamonga, has been appointed as a juvenile hearing commissioner for the Board of Parole Hearings. He has served in this position on the Board since 2006. From 2002 to 2006, Chabot lectured nationally to youth about substance abuse, leadership and community service as a professional speaker with Campuspeak Incorporated. He served in the White House from 1999 to 2005, first as a presidential management fellow and later as an advisor for law enforcement, justice and drug control policies. Chabot has served as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve since 2001 and holds the rank of lieutenant. He has also served as a reserve deputy sheriff for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department since 2001 and founded the Inland Valley Drug Free Community Coalition in 2005. This position requires Senate confirmation and the compensation is $108,167. Chabot is a Republican.
The State Parole Board got him a check for $108,167 a year.
What the hell has he done? Not sure he has so much bull in this.
With all the awesome experience a RN by the name of Lanny Swerdlow gave Chabot a lashing in both criminal and civil court without the need of a lawyer. LMAO!!
Another Rambo resume down in FLAMES.
Bob Dutton th ought he could do the same with all his connections in the good old boy system with a simple DUI arrest.

#3 Anonymous, I remember that one of yours, and I remember asking you, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE??? You never answered then…
As a Republican it saddens me that these candidates are all we have to offer the constituents of this district. The TEA Party especially the Redlands Tea Party group has all but gift wrapped CD-31 and handed the seat to a Democrat. Only question is which Dem did they hand the seat to.
#15 – Did the Redlands Tea Party already endorse a candidate for CD31??? Why did you state something without knowledge????
#1: Wow- was that the LOOOONG VERSION of Chabot’s resume????
Here’s my short version:

Anonymous #15. How in the world does the Redlands Tea Party control who the Republican candidates are? Neither Chabot or Gooch are Tea Party. The Tea Party isn’t a political party and doesn’t run candidates. They work hard trying to get the best conservative candidate who is running elected. It is important for all conservatives to stick together in this election to stop the Democrats from taking this seat. Don’t attack people who are on your side. Get involved.
#1 – that is paul chabot talking about himself
19 read the last line of number 1. If it is the boy, that’s funny.
