It’s taken only two years for two California Assembly members from western Riverside County to become entrenched in their districts.

Both 60th District Assemblyman Eric Linder, R-Corona, and 67th District Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, R-Lake Elsinore, will run unopposed in the June 3 primary election because no one filed candidacy papers to challenge them, according to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters’ office.
