There will be contested races for every Inland county supervisorial seat up for election in the June 3 primary, candidate filings show.

WASHINGTON — Thirty people are vying for seats in the U.S. House of Representatives in the November midterm elections in seven congressional districts that span Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Among the pool of incumbents are three first-term freshmen incumbents, one long-standing member and one third-term Congressman, while two incumbents have decided not to run for re-election at all.

WASHINGTON — The head of the Senate Intelligence Committee said Tuesday the CIA improperly searched a stand-alone computer network established for Congress in its investigation of allegations of CIA abuse in a Bush-era detention and interrogation program. She said the CIA’s own inspector general has referred the matter to the Justice Department.
